Julie Shannon Williams, M. Ed, C-IAYT, Certified Yoga Therapist (she/her)

Julie Shannon Williams is a Certified Yoga Therapist [C-IAYT], and is the Operations Manager at Minnesota Clinic for Health and Wellness. She provides yoga therapy for individuals of all ages (children 6 years +, adolescents and adults).

APPROACH

Julie's approach is holistic in nature using a biopsychosocial model of care providing mental/emotional and physical support for individuals seeking to explore a guided path towards health and wellness.

Yoga Therapy:

CLINICAL INTERESTS

Julie has been an educator in many capacities for more than 25 years. She is a certified yoga therapist. She is also a lead trainer for a program out of British Columbia called Pain Care Aware.

She primarily works with people in areas such as: chronic pain, autoimmune diseases, foundational yoga therapy (anatomy & joint health), and mental health. She strives to see the individual as a whole in her work incorporating a biopsychosocial & spiritual model.

She has enjoyed working in the medical industry at Health Partners Neuroscience Center and TRIA Orthopedic Center in MN, and made the choice to leave these locations to shift her sights to incorporate a more authentic, holistic approach to her services. She is an educator at heart and knows that her path is supporting those on a healing journey through 1:1 sessions, workshops, trainings, and retreats in various locations.

In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, camping, and spending time with her family.
