Isabel Meyer-Mueller, MS, Mental Health Practitioner (she/her)

Isabel Meyer-Mueller, MS, LMFT (she/her)

Isabel believes that sharing who we are is one of the most courageous things we can do. Although seeking help can be daunting, she is here to make the process as seamless as possible. She is honored to be able to gain the trust of clients and create a space where they feel comfortable sharing vulnerable parts of themselves. Her goal is to foster a relationship of radical kindness, compassion, and connection. She believes that connection with ourselves and with others can act as a vehicle for healing hurts from the past and creating hope for the future.

APPROACH

Isabel's approach to therapy is rooted in bodily autonomy, pleasure positivity, and reproductive justice. You are the expert on your own life and her role as a therapist is to honor your thoughts, feelings, and experiences while working collaboratively to make a plan of action. Rather than providing advice, Isabel is here to help you create your own answers.

CLINICAL INTERESTS

Isabel's clinical interests include couples therapy, anxiety and depression, life transitions, and stress management. She is particularly interested in issues related to sex, sexuality, and reproduction, including low/mismatched desire, navigating societal expectations related to sex and sexuality, fostering sexual enjoyment and pleasure, perinatal health, adolescent sexual development, and sexual/gender identity exploration. Isabel wants clients to know that in the therapy room, no topic is off limits and she is eager to help you carry whatever you have been holding.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Isabel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a concentration in Community and Global Health from Macalester College. She graduated with a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy and a certificate in Sex Therapy at the University of Wisconsin-Stout.

PERSONAL

Outside of work, you can find her crocheting, playing pickleball, walking her sheepadoodle, and eating pastries.
