Kim Grabe is an occupational therapist with 15 years of experience in multiple health care settings. Kim engages her clients in a collaborative approach to address and decrease physical, mental, and emotional barriers to participation in their daily lives.
APPROACH
Occupational therapy offers a client-centered approach, focused on promoting participation in meaningful activities. These can include returning to work, caring for loved ones,managing daily self-care, or engaging in leisure activities. Occupational therapy allows for specialized care driven by the client’s values, interests, and needs.
Kim is passionate about meeting clients where they are at while providing non-judgmental and jargon-free education to promote understanding of their condition. Kim’s goal for clients is to activate their own autonomy in all practice approaches. Kim is available for both in-person and virtual visits to ensure accessibility of services and management of appointment burden.

Kim Grabe, MA OTR/L is a graduate of the Master of Occupational Therapy program at the University of Minnesota. She has experience working in acute care, home care, and neuro outpatient settings.
Kim serves as the occupational therapy lead for a local health care system’s concussion program where she engages in program development, training of other providers, and ongoing care coordination with other disciplines.
Kim has a passionate commitment to continuous learning and strives to maintain an awareness of evolving approaches in order to provide optimal care. She has advanced training in visual rehabilitation, concussion management, chronic dizziness and CBT-I for treating sleep issues.
