Tamara Nascene, OTR/L, Occupational Therapist specializing in neurological rehab, chronic pain/fatigue/disease, managing caregiver burnout & pelvic health.

Tamara Nascene, OTR/L, TIPHP (she/her)

As an occupational therapist, Tamara supports individuals in building lives that feel meaningful, manageable, and aligned with who they are. Her work is rooted in an occupation-centered approach—considering how daily activities like getting ready in the morning, working, socializing, or resting both shape and are shaped by a person’s nervous system, environment, identity, and lived experience.

Tamara specializes in body-based, sensory-informed, and trauma-responsive approaches that promote regulation, resilience, and connection. These methods are particularly supportive for neurodivergent individuals—including those with autism, ADHD, or sensory processing differences—as well as people navigating trauma, chronic stress, or chronic illness. Drawing on somatic practices, sensory processing frameworks, and nervous system regulation models, she collaborates with clients to co-create personalized, sustainable, and affirming strategies.

In addition to her work as an OT, she is also a trained pelvic health therapist and a certified Trauma-Informed Pelvic Health Practitioner. She brings the same somatic, sensory-informed, and nervous system-focused lens to this area of care, supporting clients with chronic pelvic pain, women experiencing pain with intimacy, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Her approach centers safety, embodiment, and choice—creating space for healing that is deeply attuned to each person’s unique needs and lived experience.

The goal isn’t to change who someone is—but to support them in living a life that feels more authentic, connected, and manageable.
