Danielle Voigt, MA, MDiv (she/her)

APPROACH

Danielle’s approach to therapy is collaborative and person-centered. Her approach is rooted in her values of connecting, curiosity, and non-judgement. As a therapist, Danielle is passionate about journeying alongside clients, making meaning out of their personal narratives, and helping them to align with their values and goals. Her passions drive her to be a supportive and encouraging guide in the journey towards healing and wellness. She utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy, parts work, and a psychodynamic lens to identify barriers to growth and help clients to overcome them.

CLINICAL INTERESTS

Danielle has worked with a diverse clientele with a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, complex trauma, and relationship issues. She is most interested in psychodynamically-informed therapy, attachment, and mindfulness, and she adapts approaches according to the individual client. She has specialty interests in religious and institutional trauma, sexuality and identity, and complex trauma. She offers support and care to adult and older adolescents on the journeys of processing trauma, discernment, and living authentically. She encourages clients to create the life they want through integrative wellness and creating constructive relationships with themselves and others.

Danielle has been engaging in therapeutic, supportive, relational work with individuals for 5 years across several settings. Danielle is a Mental Health Provider under supervision and pursuing an LPCC license.

PERSONAL

Danielle was born and raised in Florida, spent much of her adult life in North Carolina, and recently relocated to Minnesota. In her free time she enjoys connecting with friends over board and tabletop games, reading, crafting, camping, and generally spending time outside. She is always game to learn something new.
