Korry Arndt-Wenger, MA, LPCC

Korry is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with a specialty interest in PTSD and C-PTSD. He works individually with adults.

APPROACH

Korry’s therapeutic approach prioritizes a person-centered and collaborative relational framework. He emphasizes the unique experience and value in every person's individual narrative. As a therapist, Korry is very passionate in supporting clients on their journey toward finding meaning, purpose and satisfaction in their lives. He brings this passion to his trauma work by being a supportive guide in a person’s healing process with a shared aim to find freedom from the suffering of the past and live a more present, value-based life.

CLINICAL INTERESTS

Korry is a generalist clinician and has worked with a very diverse clientele throughout his career. He has worked in inpatient mental health, provided counseling to university students, and spent nearly a decade in outpatient mental health, working with a wide variety of people from all walks of life. He has a strong interest in evidence-based practices, as well as approaches that incorporate a neuroscience-informed perspective on psychotherapy. Korry believes strongly that the mind and body are interconnected, and he approaches psychotherapy from that bio-psycho-social framework. He often encourages clients to explore optimizing their overall well-being through fitness, identifying underlying biological root causes, nutrition, and body-based regulation tools.

PERSONAL

Korry is a born and raised Minnesotan. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and friends. He really enjoys camping and outdoor activities and is a big proponent of regular fitness and exercise. Korry also enjoys gardening and reading in his leisure time, as well as a strong drive to be always learning something new.
