Dr. Hobbs is a clinical psychologist who has been in group private practice since 2011. She works with adolescents and adults as a collaborative, supportive partner to improve mental health and overall well-being. She also provides clinical supervision and consultation from a whole-person mental health framework. Dr. Hobbs values cultivating connection across difference, and approaching her work with compassion, curiosity, and creativity.
APPROACH
Dr. Hobbs’ therapeutic approaches integrate cognitive, behavioral, somatic, and insight-focused strategies. Her warm and personal style helps clients work through ingrained and unhealthy patterns that keep them stuck in emotional distress and unfulfilling relationships. She adopts a mindful and holistic perspective, and values integrating mind, body, and spirit in healing.
CLINICAL INTERESTS
Her training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy informs her work when addressing trauma and difficult early life experiences. She works collaboratively with her clients to address many presenting issues in addition to welcoming concerns about the interaction between physical and mental health. She is trained in clinical hypnosis, and enjoys working creatively to find effective solutions to inspire lasting change. She also enjoys serving in a supervisory and consultant role.
PERSONAL
In life outside of work, Jenna loves spending quality time with her family and two rascally pups, Razzie and Barnaby. She is honored to be working to cultivate a warm, welcoming clinic community - built on trust and relationship - where people can seek whole-person care for the many interconnected aspects of their mental health and wellbeing.
