Jari Welle, MA, LMFT, RYT 200 (she/her)

Jari has been a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for over 20 years. She also holds a certification in Yoga. Jari prefers to work with age 18 and up who struggle with depression and anxiety. She also enjoys working with couples on relationships and marriage issues.


Jari’s approach in working with clients involves empowering, emotionally focused work, which includes building a connection for better growth during your therapy journey. Jari believes in supporting each client along the path of their own healing journey toward positive transformation, and in doing so, helping clients live a more happy and balanced life. Jari uses Cognitive Behavioral strategies, mindfulness, yoga and meditation to create a full body healing of the mind and body.


Being a yoga instructor, Jari loves using her knowledge of yoga, meditation and mindfulness to help clients who suffer from anxiety, depression and trauma. She respects John Gottman’s couples work strategies to help couples in relationships find their way. Jari enjoys working with couples in any type of relationship, helping to grow communication and emotions within them. She enjoys working with those who struggle in anxiety and depression, stress, life transitions and divorce.


Jari received a Bachelors in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego. She received a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from National University in La Jolla, California. She has done 200 hours of yoga teacher training and currently teaches at a women's only clinic in Maplewood, MN. She periodically runs a Yoga for Anxiety and Stress 6 week course. Jari was on the Board for Minnesota Women in Psychology for 4 years.


To no surprise, Jari enjoys doing and teaching yoga. She also likes walks, 5k’s, lakes, paddle boarding, kayaking, cross country skiing and trying new things. She is a bit obsessed with the parks at Disney World and cute figures of Mickey Mouse.
