EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Dr. Christine is a graduate of the Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine, and Certified Massage Therapy program at the Pacific College of Health and Science (formerly PCOM) in San Diego.
Christine also holds a Masters of Arts in Public Policy from the Humphrey Institute at the University of Minnesota, and a Bachelors of Arts in Sociology from DePaul University. Prior to working as an acupuncturist, Christine spent a decade working for various nonprofits in both Minnesota and Washington, D.C. She is passionate about creating a more just, equitable world for all people.
Christine has worked at several clinical locations since her graduation, including an outpatient treatment program for mental health and addiction, two clinics serving low-income and indigenous people, and her own private practices. She is also an adjunct clinical supervisor of acupuncture students at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN.
On a personal level, during her time at Pacific, Christine was diagnosed with a thyroid autoimmune illness (AI). By combining TCM treatments with functional medicine, she successfully turned her health around. She was also recently treated for endometrial cancer, and has utilized both Western allopathic and TCM treatments to heal. Both of these health challenges have taught her many lessons about how our medical systems can both help and fail us as consumers.
When she isn’t working, Christine enjoys hanging out at home with her cat Ramses and dog Bert, watching movies, and taking walks around the many beautiful lakes in Minnesota.
